That was an interesting explanation of Narcissa's death. It looks like she might look favourably on Lucius remarrying. Now, to get Hermione to admit her attraction... Very well-written chapter, though short. You're quite a wordsmith. Thanks for the update--hurry back!

I am thoroughly enjoying this start! Luscious Lucius-haha! I am liking Pansy a lot and am looking forward to seeing what she gets Hermione into during the course of this fic. I have a feeling it will be more than a bit amusing. Hoping to see an update ASAP!

I like the plot device of the portrait as his voice of reason; will she like Hermione, do you think?

LMAO! I think I love Narcissa...she's bloody hilarious. No really.

Lucius certainly seems detached from the world. Hermione might be good for him.

*snuggles Lucius* Poor guy... I'm surprised the Ministry is still standing after that....

Oh, Luscious Lucius did have a bad reaction, didn't he? I wonder if it is the spell at all, but two people who were subconsciously inclined to each other. Ten years is a long time to mourn a spouse and eschew society. I hope Hermione plucks up her courage and convinces Lucius that she isn't trying to coerce him at all. Then he might just reconsider his bad reaction. Great writing! This story looks as promising as Harvest Moon. Yay!
