Well written, but not a fan of the plot!

Really nicely done; how you set this up. I like most Harry here and his words on how he cared more for principles, and knowing that, he knew he cared least for Draco himself. He knew that he couldn't give up his values, whereas in other stories we see Harry seeing his values as not as sound or not as practical in comparison to his affections. And I'm glad that you gave Draco closure at the end. Great job with this.

I like it! I really do. Quite possibly the wisest Harry I've ever seen.

Seriously, it's not often you come across something like this. You can find stories about cheating by the score and they're either meant to bring the reader to tears (which very few actually accomplish, for me anyway)or they totally glamorize the whole idea. Very seldom does one get to step back and look at it from this angle.

I found this thoughtful and involving and very well written. You draw your audience into your characters head-space with all the finesse of a professional. I felt that I could clearly grasp each point of view and sympathize (whether I agreed or not). It was all very satisfying on a deeper level than fan-service.

I imagine that you left a few readers disgruntled with the fact that Harry didn't end up with Draco. lol While I admit to a general favoring of Draco over Ginny, I think this is better. This isn't a cop out. It's literature.

Aww heck, that was no fun! :-)

BUT, I guess we had to have some realism in there.
