I don't blame Hermione a bit for the drinking (or the propositioning, frankly). I'm glad he stayed, though with the way you ended the chapter, I'm not sure he's going to be glad he stayed.

Poor Severus! He starts off in a spirit of scientific inquiry, needing more data, and ends up in a moral quandary, poor baby. S'alright, Hermione can kiss it and make it better. Loved the chap, hon.

Haapy belated birthday! I think you are spot on with how Hermione goes about dealing with her situation. She of course might be mortified come morning but, I dare say we would all respond the the same way given the previous nights antics. Love that Snape didn't give in staight away as tempted as he might have been. He does have a noble streak in him although he be loathed to admit it. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!
