Well, he seems to have at least some sort of substitute for his pain. Hopefully, it'll be enough. :D Thanks so much for the update. I thought the first few paragraphs turned out very nicely. But I particularly liked the last ones, where he's finally bared his soul to her. Well done! :D

This story is lovely and breaks my heart at the same time. I love a good angst-ridden Draco, particularly one who feels fiercely for Hermione. There are some really beautiful moments in here. And I love your Blaise! Also it must be said that it is a higher caliber of writing than one usually finds on AFF. Well done, and the next update is eagerly awaited.

The angst is well-done, and Draco is really compelling in this one. I like it. Also like how Hermione's compassion and concern shine through even when she's upset with him for pushing her away.

I have the same tendency: to apologize for pieces of my writing that I think are weak. However, I disagree that your first two paragraphs "suck balls". They're fine. Good even. So get over it and quit apologizing! haha You know it doesn't help to draw attention to weak points, right?
Anyway, can't say I'm enjoying your story (as in, I don't enjoy hearing about people hurting themselves), but I can say that I am enthralled by it. Nothing better than well motivated angst, eh? I'm interested to see how you keep up the dark/angsty tenor of the story with what must come next without destroying everyone. Keep it up!
