Oooh, an new story, I love all of your stuff. Somehow I missed this one when you first posted and just found it tonight. Which was kind of nice because I got to read 5 whole chapter at once.
I think The Masked Lady just has to be Hermione, I love the idea of her being this good, normal, plain, caring, hard working head of charities and having this alter ego that is sleek, bold, sexy and daring. Can't wait for more. Please post more information when you can on your book deal, how exciting.

Let me just say that was unbelievably HOT! The thought of Lucius going commando...even hotter. Now that is out off the way I am almost positive that the "theif" is Hermione. First, she says she knows him and second, she doesn't trust him. So she must know him well and for quite some time. Is this Hermiones way off making him and the other pureblood/rich/deatheaters attone for "crimes during the war. Or is she attracted to him and this is one way to get his attention and get her job done. Lucius I'm surprised is going along with this very willingly. He is baiting her every time he goes out and it makes me wonder if he wants her because she is a criminal. I say that becasue it seems he wants someone naughtier and stronger than Narcissa. On the other hand is he just so unbelievably lonely he jumps at the first women to show him the exact attention he seems to crave. If this is not Hermione I'm going to eat my hat. I can't think of who it could possibly be. I'm still not sure how she is getting around with using magic yet not getting caught. Can't wait for more although the waiting does give time to ponder the possibilities. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always check your author page (the only one i ever check) and i was so excited to see the first 4 chapters up, and then this new one =)
What is your book called,or would that be too personal? I'm quite interested to know what kind of book you would write after reading your fantastic fanfic. PLease keep it up even when you become a famous author, =)

Chapter 5: AH...random acts of smuttiness to get us through to the next update. Thanks!

It's so difficult to wrap my mind around the differences between 'everyday Hermione' and 'Masked Lady Hermione.' Not that I'm not loving every second of this naughty little tale you have so carefully spun...but it's almost like she has some sort of split personality disorder (that is if the Masked Lady is indeed Hermione, but who else could she be) The fact that she can disassociate herself from the darker side (robbing people, no matter the justification seems dark to me). I know she's doing it to cover her tracks, not wanting to give herself away. But I just can't imagine how 'do-gooder Hermione' rationalizes 'bad-girl' Hermione.

Oh, BTW congrats on getting your book details all worked out. I know all about that copyright business being a MAJOR pain in the butt. My grandmother was a songwriter/poet and she constantly complained about the forest's worth of paper she went through just to get one of her works published. Best of luck to you and I can't wait to hear more about your new work.

Please update when you can,

Ah, nothing like mixing a little business with pleasure. A lot of it, actually. And the lure of the forbidden as well. What's another sin for her if she's already having to break rules of the wizard world? Besides, it's fun! Now, if she were serious, after having robbed them at the various events, she would head to a selected victim's house or two while they were busy with the Aurors and rob the house as well.

Oh yes! Let the lemons begin, I am all for it! Who could possibly blame you for smut? Ah, not ME that's for sure... Although I must admit that it is hard to wait a whole day for the updates. *pouts* Okay, okay, patience has never been one of my strong points, so don't listen to me.

I guess everybody suspects the Masked Lady to be Hermione (yeah right, me, too)... So the only question is: will Lucius be abel to make the connection? He's certainly not stupid - but the outward apparence of the two women is quite different.

Arghh... I'll have to wait to know. Like I said: patience? What is that?

Good to have you back on fanfiction. :-)

Mmm lovely way to start a weekend! I was convinced the Masked Lady was Hermione, because it doesn't make much sense otherwise, but the manicured fingernails have thrown me off! All the other differences are very temporary but department of charities messy Hermione doesn't equate to manicured fingers so now im beginning to doubt, but it has to be Hermione! ah im all confused! very very sexy chapter though, can't wait for Lucius' paying her back!
