This was a funny light hearted story. The ending especially, problem is, I can imagine Lucius being more protective over daughters than sons.

As a professional writer, this is the only fiction I've bothered to comment on and for specific reasons. First, the scenes with Hermione as the masked lady were the best of the entire fiction. They moved well and she was very believeable as the masked woman. However, after that I felt it deteriorated into just another smutty story when it had such a promising beginning. I would have preferred if you had taken more risks as a writer, and truly dealt with the issue which is in the background of this story - how Lucius treated her. It wasn't just that he was on the 'wrong' side of the war. That's boring. But, he tortured people (probably murdered a few) and threatened her with death in the Dept. of Mysteries. I would like to see one writer actually deal with that and find a way for that to be part of the relationship. How could it not be? Another thing that bothered me is the whole issue of Hermione breaking the law and Harry overlooking it. All he would have to do is go to the Ministry and say that Lucius was threatening him over it and they'd be all over it. There's no way Lucius could go back to his old tricks. And, by the way, why doesn't Hermione say anything when Lucius threatens Harry? That's not even in character for her. She loves Harry. He's like a brother to her. But when it comes to the fact that she's forcing Harry to lie for her, and possibly lose his career for her, she doesn't bat an eyelash? Doesn't make sense. In fact it would have been more convincing if he had turned her in and dealt with the consequences. That would have been a fabulous if not challenging story. But that's my take on it. All in all there is some good writing here, but primarily at the beginning.

I have no idea when you first published but I just found it today and I LOVE IT!!! I was a AD/MM or SS/MM for a very long time, got a little bored and left the fandom after DH came out. I was looking for an update for another fandom when I decided to go check on the HP stuff. I had read some SS/HG stuff before and like it but hadn't ever really found any I loved. Well I found your LM/HG and am in bliss. I love the way you put the characters together. They are the people we know from cannon but have changed over time, which people will and do, you keep them true to what we know about them but put them in different places in their lives. I really really enjoyed this piece. It is funny and hot and just really adorable to read. I like how you have Lucius voluntarily tamed but not toothless and you did it with just a few words in that one scene with Harry. Perfect!

I love Hermione in this story! Her power and sultriness seems to suit her. I also adore Lucius, especially his reaction to his daughters. I can totally picture that.
