I believe, this work would be in top 5 % of HP fanfics ever written, if it were complete.

You know I have always wondered why Harry and Luna had not been romantically paired after the OOTP ending.It looked as if it was the most obvious thing and strangely enough in HBP I thought frankly that love potion had been employed to suddenly make harry head over heels with Ginny.They never had anything meaningful up until then and I dunno how JKR expects to beleive that this was all how it was supposed to be right from the beginning.She most definitley fucked up with Harry-Ginny pairing and broke many peoples hearts including mine for not uniting harry and luna.
Ch 27 also reminded me of some old thought of mine that why hadn't they simply put that terrible locket in hermione's undetectable extendalbe charm induced bag??
I mean only she can put in and take out anything out of it right??so why hadn't they considered that.It definitely was not going to disappear from anything like that would it??
And also why haven't you continued with the story and keeping it a WIP for almost 4 years??

Hermione's betrayal of Ron though... well, that was something utterly fucked up, I think. I mean, I enjoyed how you built everything up, how Ron overcame that shit. Hell, there's always gonna be a bit of me that's gonna think Hermione should have gotten rejected by Ron, because I personally can't see how someone could accept her fumbled apology, her unstable mind, with the shit she's done with Harry. You could have perhaps had Ron do something similar, but let's say with someone else he might have met while he was away from them. So that she could feel the sting of what it's like to be betrayed. Only that would make them equal, and actually a plausible couple in my mind.

That shit said and vented, I still loved this story and I lament that it just sits here unfinished.

Hey! I woke up from a dream thinking about this story a few weeks ago and have spent the past month reading this fic, keeping the tab open in my background as to never loose my spot. I know its been forever, but the story was just as great as I remembered it to be. Its truly a shame you never finished it. I was kinda thinking "wow, its been years now since I checked for updates, I wonder if it was ever completed?" Anyway, I hope you're well and I just want you to know this will always be one of my favorite fan fics ever, even long after I stopped reading them.

PLEASE update this story! I have really enjoyed reading this over the past few days but really need to see Harry rescue Luna and the (hopefully) resultant forgiveness. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!

Having read till chapter twenty-nine, I think this is definitely one of the better fanfics I've read so far. The writer is definitely talented and it's good to read a story where the characters are so true to their original essence while still being developed in unexpected ways. I think the Harry/Luna pairing is a triumph, and really don't get why people don't use it more, but in a way I am glad that when it is written, it's with this kind of cleverness and sensitivity. The whole BDSM angle was really interesting to me, particularly from Harry's point of view and I think his dominant nature was made part of him, or actually almost made to blossom from within him, with a degree of dexterity that I applaud. The same also sits very well with Luna, and the way she receives Harry's attentions speaks in a typically Luna way of her deep seated devotion to him, and the reasons for her bonding with him are entirely believable. At the same time, I could criticize Harry's feelings for her in the sense that I question them, seeing as often I see him in nothing more than awe of her convenience and amenability as a receptacle of his desires, and not as much in love with Luna for being Luna. But then again, I am a romantic sap, so you can sue me for that opinion. I also find myself enjoying the depictions of life at Hogwarts and the maturity with which the plot is furthered and the psychology of all the characters in their respective situations is explored. Ginny in particular is spot on in the author's interpretation and depiction of her, and I also absolutely love the excerpts and lyrics thrown in on occasion- they complemet their respective chapters beautifully unlike the often fugly and certainly discoradnt playlists that certain other authors suggest with their stories. So yeah, I am basically a fan already and cannot wait for more from this author.

I am totally and completely hooked on this story! Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I'd enjoy a Harry/Luna fic. And the BDSM...usually not my thing but in this case it's incredibly hot and integral to the story. Please update soon (I'm sure you read that a lot). You're so friggin' talented. I want to grow up to be just like you!
