Reading this is effortless - lovely wording and grammar. What I noticed is how your dialogue is seamlessly English (or as far as I can tell, but I'm Australian, which I hope is kind of closer than most), even in moments when I notice most authors slip into a more generic register (ie in the middle of sex, which really throws you off, come to think of it - Remus' "this feels odd" is great.)
Remus and Sirius' characterization is wonderful and consistent and the whole fic had a kind of gentle realism to it that made it feel strangely poignant at times (Remus' sudden fear of being a quick shag in the broom closet; the fact that they don't kiss and make up quite immediately.) I guess criticisms would be Sirius' "hiding" of his feelings (which didn't seem apparent to me) or the blandness of the female character (I mean, slag), which might have been fleshed out more to make that aspect a little more edgy, but to be honest I think these are more criticisms of the genre as a whole, either slash (how often do you even see a female character in slash?) or romance, and certainly nothing worth worrying about. In fact I think those all fit in well with the tone of the fic; all the emotions certainly rang true, which is what is important.
This is just a a joy to read; it's everything I hope to find when I'm looking for some quick slash to distract myself. Shit, there's just something so on the money and perfect about it that makes me wish there were so much more slash writers like you. You don't appear to have written anything else but you bloody well should.

I really hope there is going to be more to this story...if for no other reason than I want to hear Sirius' explanation for his behavior! The fic is smoking hot and well-constructed, with the portrait of Sirius drawn through Remus' eyes clear and fuzzy at the same time, the way we all see our lovers. Good stuff. Write more!
