I don't know about Narcissa... she IS a slytherin. And it seems like she might already know what Lucius did. But Draco seems to trust her enough to let her know that Hermione is still pregnant and let her know where they live. He must trust her not to tell him. Risky business. Getting a bad feeling about it. Yikes! I'm afraid Lucius will go after her again. A pretty scary possibility.

You know, the premise is good, the dynamics between Hermione and Draco are very believable in my opinion (ust is believable, attraction is great, situation would actually work irl). Lucius Malfoy, although more tolerant of Hermione's situation than would probably be in canon, is very sinister and his actions were ruthless and cold blooded. I totally buy that he would curse Hermione, especially with his political leanings. I keep coming back to this story wondering what you'll do with it.
Everything meshes, imo, except I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around Hermione being independently wealthy and living with the Weasley's-- especially after what Ron had done to her. What is the reason? There might be a good one, but I keep getting distracted by the fact that she's living as a burden on Arthur and Molly (Harry is, too...) when she could get a place with Harry or on her own. I would think that Ron's situation would be awkward, and she's inviting guests into someone else's house and it's causing problems and she doesn't seem to mind. It just seems so inconsiderate to punch out Ron at his mother and father's breakfast table. Are she and Harry helping pay the morgage or something? Just trying to figure it out.
