Beautiful story. I find it harder to see the characters when they go through past pains in stories like these, because it feels so easy to see the characters as being overly dramatic, saying too many words that had they been in character (with these pains) they never would have said. But you really handled this perfectly, few words being spoken, touches being exchanged, and of course describing Draco's need, the pull to carve the scab so that the wound can heal. (He
