You would think that being raised as a muggle, she would understand the inherent dangers of drinking and anything (driving, spellcasting, whatever). Tsk Tsk Hermione! Sometimes I wonder if she actually has a lick of common sense amongst all those brains.
At least this scenario didn't end up as horribly as it could have been. Glad to see it work out for Hermione in the end.

How could anyone not love that! I was in hysterics with the thought of a nearly naked Hermione falling on Sevs desk in front of a student. Always worth the read when you have Severus involved (hell who am I kidding, your stuff is always worth the read and it never disappoints!) Well done!!
