So Muse's Citizen Erased started playing on my iPod while reading this chapter and line "the truth's unwinding" was sung at most perfect parts in the story. Lol.

You don't know WHY you teared up???
Hmmm...well, it would all depend on how you feel about your family. Despite how
they get on our nerves, how you fight or just WISHED they understood you more,
deep down we will love them...and will fight anyone who tries to do anything
against them.
God knows, how I wanted to punch a boy's face in because he hit my brother with
a bat..and I'm not a fighter. Of course, the scaredy cat ran to his mommy...and I
was a kid when this happened years ago.
Also, in a way, this chapter reflects how you would do anything to spare a friend
the pain of seeing a parent pass away OR just seeing them buried. I'll NEVER forget
the time I buried my father's mother, normally I'm a strong person to the point
of emotionless, but Grandmother & I were always understanding of one another and
I can honestly say I was closer to HER than my parents.
*sigh* Anyway, I didn't mean to go so far into this, but I guess I couldn't
help myself.

That's an amazing first-person narrator!!! The described feelings are really getting to me. You said the third chapter actually made you teary, I'd say if it wouldn't be so early in the morning --> I could concentrate better I'd be teary, too.^-^ It was definitly very touching. I also like that you skip some days, 'cause of that it gets a totally different dynamic than your other stories.

This chapter was excellent. I love Harry's detachment from everyone as he notices the fear and distrust in his eyes, as well as his resentment towards a possessive Ginny. The Dementor scene was artfully done.
