For taking the heartbreak of the last chapter's cliffhanger and channeling it into a bit of fury with this chapter's cliffhanger. Very natural progression, particularly for Hermione.

Though I was expecting her to "out" her relationship to Draco; am surprised at that choice. Am excited to see where you're going to take this. Heh. Oh, the possibilities ...

Am also very happy with the loyalty Padma's giving her and that she's the supporter-of-choice here. She's sort of a blank in the books, so it's nice to see her get some good story time elsewhere.

Oooooooooh, bad Draco! I can't wait to see what Hermione decides to do, career-wise.

I wonder if Draco will get his act together and go help his father. Thank you for another chapter!

Oh Lucius! What have you done? I hope he know what he's doing, because Hermione is going to be in bits if it doesn't work the way he thought it would. So now Padma knows, what's going to happen? I can't stand the suspense! Look forward to the next chapter!

I don't generally read LM/HG fics b/c they're usually so 'dirty old man', but opened yours on a whim. So glad I did!
This is fantastic. I can't really think of anything to say. I'm stunned, a rare occurence.

My own heart was pounding when she was racing to catch up with him, as he walked up to the desk ... sheeesh. I gotta calm down and get a life, huh? LOL But seriously. Beautifully done.

I knew it was coming. I KNEW he was going to turn himself in, but I went ahead and cried like a baby. A big, thirty year old, fangirl baby.

I admit that I actually chanted, "No, no, no" along with her. I am so sorry for her pain and his. I can only hope (A LOT) that you intend to have a happy ending to this story and that things will somehow work themselves out for him and them. I am pretty sure her confession will not go over really well with anyone, but at least she can attest to the fact that he has truly changed. Wow. You must update again REALLY soon, please. I hate to think how they will treat him, even though he turned himself in and caused no trouble. Poor Lucius. Poor Hermione. Good for Padma! Thank you, HG4eva

A wonderful chapter. I hope that Hermione will go visit Lucius now that he has turned himself in. I think that he truly loves her because he asked if she would be there for him when he gets out. I look forward to the next chapter.
