This is such a great story I love it and it has the perfect amount of angst without all the dread that usually comes with it. Not to mention I love your style of writing, you don't make the characters actions seem forced or cheesy by rushing them into this unlikely pairing.

I am completely enthralled with your story. It's so well written!! You've captured the intricacies of their internal dialogues in such an interesting and believable way, and the lemons are HOT!! To be honest, I usually only read fanfics for the lemons, although I'm always happy when they're wrapped in an interesting story. But your story is so interesting, your Lucius so delicious, that even if there weren't any lemons, I'd still be waiting desperately for an update. Great Work!!

Oh!! You!!
You've completely broken my heart, then lifted it up and gave me just enough hope, then dashed it back down onto the rocks.
I think I love you.

Your story caused me to step out of the ranks of anonymous reader and register just to post this comment.
I really think it is that good. As a moderate fan of the HP series I wouldn't know if you fudged some details, but I can say that your use of characters and situations seems to flow wonderfully with the storyline.
However I am quite sure the story stands without the HP world, your writing is easily good enough that you could have generated the necessary background if needbe.
This has to be the first "sappy love story" I've ever commented on, and worse yet, been sorely disappointed to not be able to click "next"...
So, Thank You for your excellent story.
Congratulations on your amazing talent.
Now give me the next chapter before I send you an autoquill (whatever it was that Rita Skeeter had) :)

Hermione is a very smart woman and went about that perfectly. But, poor Lucius. I fully understand Draco's hurt and anger, along with his memories keeping him from trusting his father, and I know Astoria is going along with her husband's wishes. But, man I ache for him. To know you won't know your grandchildren when they are so close would be enough to kill most people. But, to know the same will be true of your own child... Merlin! Deep and touching, as always. Thank you, HG4eva

Oh poor Lucius.
What a surprise. And i was biting my nails, afraid that Draco would say something about her being pregnant. That would be disaster.
I know she will find a way to have him around their baby. And perhaps the way to this will be Astoria...?

Am reviewing here, too, because I'm just this side of certifiable when it comes to your stories.
Great stuff, well done, worth the wait. And heartbreaking. Utterly. Am entirely stressed out with Lucius, wanting to believe but not able to 100% entirely believe ...
So well done.

I'm SO happy to see that you've written a new chapter for this excellent story. I love how the relationship between Lucius and Hermione continues to develop.
As I read this chapter, I was on the edge of my seat, worried that Draco would tell him about seeing Hermione pregnant, and so Lucius would refuse to see her. I am relieved that he took the news she gave him as well as he did. Is there any way that they can be together, so that Lucius doesn't miss her pregnancy and the early years of his child, and so that Hermione doesn't have to do it on her own? (fingers crossed)
I look forward to your next chapter!
