oh ok. well i just figured since you have the "one shot alley" on the Pen, all your one shots would go there. i didn't realize how much work it was to post up a story to your own website. btw, i thought this was really cute. you do have a talent ms figg.

Ms. Figg - why is it that I always find your short stories on here instead of your website?? I mean, the burning pen is suppose to be where you put all your stories right?? just wondering when you plan on updating that site with all your new short stories.

Hi Anonymous: The reason my one-shot stories are placed here is because I don't have to do a lot of set up for them. On the Pen I have to make directories, indexes and review boards and it's a lot of work for a few hundred words. It is just simpler to post them here if they are only a single chapter long. Two chapters or more I post on the Pen.

You know, that was actually pretty good for a short songfic :D I was so listening to 'Leave Out All the Rest' by Linkin Park the other day, and I was like 'I bet Ms Figg could so do something with this..' But I didn't think it'd ever come up XD But now I have to listen to this song!

Densaugeo: I'm not normally big on songfics. But I do have a WIP based on a song called "Death Be Not Unkind" based on the song "You Crucify My Heart" and I only started writing it because the lead singer looked like Snape and had a black woman accompanying him at one point. My fantasy made plain. lol. So it's a little self-insertion fic actually. Has a villainess Hermione. Anyway, I'm going to have to check out that song "Leave Out All the Rest." I like mellow songs for the most part, am very big on soft rock, pop and easy listening because that's what I grew up with. And crossovers. ***
