This is perfect and very fitting, a complete story. And yet I yearn for more just as they do; so I guess you succeeded ;)

interesting and well written story; couldn't you write a sequel? I'd like them to undestand each other...

Wow thats just sad. Both of them wanting more than just what they have yet they both wont admit it, allowing them both to live in a world of hurt just to ease the pain of thier guilt

Very sad. Not depressing, although I'm not sure why. Just very sad.

I had gotten the impression of Snape's emotions before reading his section, which is telling of how you wrote Snape in Harry's POV. When Harry made the distinction that Snape did not enjoy this, it was sad. It would be horrible if he did, but there was an emptiness in this peice. It was sad for Harry to ask such a thing of Severus, after all Sev had gone through in the war, as described in his own POV. It wasn't fair.

Beautifully written.

Damn. I'm almost speechless. The angst...the misunderstanding, the need, the emptiness. It's really profound on both ends, but reading Snape's POV brings it all home. It casts Harry's POV in the beginning in an entirely different light. I can see this happening after the war if Snape survived. I feel so bad for both of them, yet I'm happy they do have each other, but the fact that they're both torturing each other silently is so tragic. Excellent writing.
