Excellent job, especially on the descriptions of the layout of Harry's mind, and of the 'wounds' Voldemort left to fester. Colorful imagery carried this chapter a long way. Thank you for posting.

something a bit different...
If it's alright I would like to take the time to mention a couple of old stories.
First, I'm amazed I missed the things you've written in the past, but I do
remember seeing your name, since it was rather odd to me and I remember the
story, 'Keep it Simple Stupid'. :-)
I admit when I first saw that story and read the first 2 chapters, I was like,
'what tha'hell???' But months down the road, I FINALLY got a chance to read it
from beginning to end and I have to admit, I do like the twist towards the end,
which brings up the question....would you ever consider doing a story like that again, where the plot takes an enexpected turn?
Second, have you thought about bringing Arguer Malfoy back for an encore? I must
admit I liked him. :-)
Third, oh YEAH....the story, ''The Last Runespoor'', I think you're the only
person who decided to use Harry's gift as a profession. Have you played with
the idea of doing a story that deals largely with Harry hunting a dangerous snake/serpent???
I know by the time you read this you'll be like, ''okay, that's a bit much to
be asking'', BUT...it's just that as much as I've been in the section, the
main plots have been the same just about, with a few exceptions...a rare few.
I mean, DAMN...you're the ONLY author who did a horror story in THIS section!!! At least, you try for different.
Fourth & Last, the story, ''Work after Wartime'', I think the moments between
Harry & Draco when they were in the lake were moments you just don't see anymore
in other people's stories. It's almost like angst rules...and other emotions are
put in the backburner.
If you've been reading as long as I have, you'd get what I mean.

So Snape actually "chipped" away all the icky blackness from Harry's mind despite the books saying that lasting damage would be done? Snape's the man. Definitely the least appreciated character in canon. Though I'm glad that your Harry is making strides in trusting him.
Awesome chapter. Keep going!

Harry and Draco are adorable!! =^^=
Its nice to see Snape finally opening up to Harry regarding his emotions. Hopefully Harry's in-head trauma will be resolved soon. Keep up the great work!

Chapter 28
Hehe. You make my fanfiction-needs life complete. I utterly adore angst, and fluff, and terrible things happening to characters that I love that force good feelings in the face of death. You've touched on everything in this so far, and it's only getting better.
