You know, I think it's safe for me to say that I TRULY do like the characterization
of Ron Weasley when he's not the close-minded individual that some fiction portray
him to be. Even though, he & Draco have been at odds at school, I like to think
he CAN be lenient and move pettiness aside to do what needs to be done.
Also, I, TOO, can see Ron as a strategist [or soldier as you called him], since he does well at Wizards Chess, I'd like to see him go against Snape. :-)
For some odd ball reason, while Draco was trying to convince Harry the importance
of....killing ''Finnegan''. I couldn't help BUT think of Sailor Moon...yes, that
is before your time.
Anyway, it's the common story of the gentle warrior who wants to help EVERYone
when others see no other solution but one.
So, I guess the Slytherins have been elected in doing the unsavory work...with
a Gryffindor mixed in.
All in all, still patiently waiting for THE confrontation between Ole' Snake Eyes
& the Lion's Pride.

I loved those last 2 lines: "Harry would do what was right, what was admirable, what was brave and heroic. They would do what was necessary." That basically sums up Harry, Draco and Severus' roles pretty well.
Harry's explanation was really heartfelt. I mean, how many times have you've wanted people to believe something about you and that didn't happen for a long time? Countless, really.
Great chapter!

O_O Fuck. That was good. I love your idea about the Horcrux's and how to kill them. They're really cool and different from what I've seen. And the ending about Draco knowing how to get the Horcrux out of Harry, well lets just say, I went MAD with happiness! I really didn't want Harry to die like he did in the books. To much like Buffy the Vampire Slayer for me ^^.
I know that Narcissa is just being a mother, grated a very fucked up and snooty mother, but I'm really hating her right now. Just fucking accept that Draco is in love and it's with Harry Potter already!! Harry is the best thing for Draco and you know it!! Stop trying to break them up and stop thinking that after the war they wont be going out anymore. That's not going to happen(I hope). I know that's what she's thinking. Well that and she wants Draco to have a son so the Malfoy name can go on.
Er, sorry about that little rant. Narcissa is pissing me off right now.

Yahoooo! I loved your rewriting of the books since chapter 1, and it keeps getting better and better. Your inventive way of twisting the original story while keeping it smart and mindful of each characters personae and progress is really impressive. I can't help but wish for the next chapter to be posted each time I check in on AFF. And I can't wait to see what way Draco has found to pull the horcruxe out of Harry. An advice though : when he does reveal his plan, if you could explain in a little more details what's going on on the magical level? That would really help! :D
You write so beautifully and I'm going to read your story until the end!

After getting this far into the story, I have to admit...I like the way you
write, because it DOES remind me of simply reading a novel and not just
fanfiction.
You truly put an effort to do something different and that can be hard, but
you do it in a way that looks effortlessly, when I know you must go through
some headaches to stay ahead of the game to try to think of new ideas OR take
something old and make it new.
Which makes me wonder have you played with the idea of a crossover, yet?
Also, are you considering writing as a profession?
PS-I tried not to bombard you with TOO 'out-of-the-blue' questions...and
'demands'. :-)

SO Good! I was scared for a moment for Draco... and only Draco would come out of a near-death experience with a solution to another of their problems. He's crazy brilliant.
Keep going!

I can't believe I was away from this for so long!! Oh my god this two chapters were so good. I love the banter between Harry and Narcissa went. I hope that she doesn't try anything else to break Harry and Draco up. That would be sad. I loved Draco talking to the Elder Wand, I could totally see it in my mind and it was FUUUUUUUUUNY!! That last little bit with Snape and Harry warmed my heart. I hope now they can move on and trust each other now. They could be great friends? if they could just trust.
Can't wait for more!!

That was exhausting just to read. Poor Snape, poor Harry. Poor Sirius and Draco, too - they had to Not Interfere. Such strong people you give us.
