I've been a bit too busy to catch up on all my reading, sadly, but here I am ready to go. Consider it an early birthday review. LOL ;)
Oh straight away I want to know how that verse relates to everything else and whose thoughts they are, Hermione's or Draco's.
So the Dark Lord is displeased with Theo and Goyle. I guess we'll have to keep a closer eye on Pansy and Daphne now. Just because Voldemort thinks less of witches than he does of wizards doesn't mean they can't/won't inflict some damage to our heroes. All Pansy has to do is flirt with Draco in front of Hermione and sparks will fly. LOL Not that Hermione is going to admit it. And let's hope Mulciber has a really good time punishing the boys. And Lucius is having second thoughts and doubting himself. Better be as good at keeping such thoughts out of his head as Snape is then. And I'm on the fence about Narcissa. I think she'd still put Draco before Voldemort so perhaps her obedience here is just an act???? Oh good, Lucius has made his feelings known to Snape. :)
Ooooo that discussion with Dumbledore just left more questions than answers. Seems to be the way with any conversation with Dumbledore. LOL What are they thinking and what is Snape up to and exactly how does this stuff affect Hermione (and Draco too for that matter)?
Love, love, love your Luna. (Not as much as Harry does obviously - LMAO) So out there one minute but so spot on the next. I think she speaks so etherally half the time so no-one realises how scarily accurate and indepth she can be. To have Hermione sputtering and practically speechless because she's noticed Draco noticing Hermione - perfect. And I must agree, chocolate does have its own magical properties. LOL
And finally, complex stories are difficult and when you're as strapped for time as I know you are, it's hard to get in there and follow all the plot lines you want to complete. Don't force it because when the ideas do come (and they will) you'll be flat out having your fingers keep up with your thoughts as you try to type or write them all down. of course, now I'm waiting to see how hot chocolate and having Draco escort Hermione back to her room will pan out. *evil grin*. Not to mention what Snape is up to in Wales and how the Slytherin girls are going to be contacted and what their mission will be and whether Blaise and Ginny might get up to a little mischief. Now I'm getting ahead of myself with my naughty thoughts. LMAO :)

As a writer of a story with many people and situations, I feel your pain. That's part of what's taking me so long to get the sequel up. But, I know you will do and do it extremely well. Just keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep reading. I know somehow, you are going to get them through all of this and to their happy ending. :-) Hugs and thanks, hon! HG4eva

ooooh - an update....yummy. Hmm, still don't get why they are targeting Hermione in particular. And can they really strip of her magic? I don't know.
I'm a bit worried for Draco and I know Snape will keep Hermione safe...gods, I really love Snape.

This was lovely, necessary and full of setup. I am glad she is finally letting others in, so she can have the support she deserves. And, I enjoyed the fact that she you turned Ron's anger so neatly. Ginny might just prove to be a much better friend than previously thought. And, I completely understood Harry. He's just looking for some peace and quiet for a while. lol The rest with Draco's drinking to cover the pain, her breakdown, and their kiss...touching. I know they have a little ways to go before she'll initiate anything again, but I do look forward to it. ;-) I also am very interested in seeing the DA make its rescue, as I have a feeling Ron might have a future love interest coming... tee hee hee. I think in my head I've already put Ginny with Blaise. lol Thanks, hon! HG4eva

I'm so glad she told Ron and Ginny, I wish she could have told them earlier though, she should know she could have trusted them by now, especially Ginny. I must admit I'm never sure how Ron will act in a situation but after learning how Draco had saved his beloved Hermione, I was pleased to see him extend his hand in, well it wasn't exactly friendship but it was a step forward and I liked that. It was wonderful how Ron was ready to go into battle for Hermione and kick some arse. She needs to know they are there for her. And Ginny as always was very astute, subtley asking Hermione the question no-one really wanted to ask. Love Ginny chanelling Molly to get Ron to owl his aunt. LOL
Ooh am I jumping to conclusions here noticing that Blaise handed the note to Ginny? Is there something more there? LOL And how cool was it that both Draco and Harry swore at the same time when they heard Blaise's news. Really building some bridges here, aren't you? :) And the thoughts running around Harry's head that he couldn't wait to be with Luna - the cheeky buggar. I can understand how he'd want to get lost in her arms though - very nice.
Draco really doesn't want to go back home but he'll do it for Hermione, and I think he's starting to realise how much she'll do for him too. And ahh, from the moment she kissed his forehead goodnight to him grabbing her wrist and letting her cry all over his shirt to that tender kiss all I wanted to do was go awwwwwwwwwww. That was just so sweet. But when he promised there'd be more to come - whew - I'm going to need a hotness warning, aren't I? LMAO
And we're still in the dark as to what being an elemental truly means for Hermione - I'm loving the intrigue you're building here. :)

Thank you for the compliment, too. The theme of my review is "funny" because there were several things that were to me. :-) Hermione is so funny (read that to mean written as very human). She can't deal with the thought of not doing magic, so she simply doesn't. But, as with real life, avoidance of a subject only serves to bring about other things you want to avoid considering. Loved it!
Dumbledore taking points was actually funny (ha ha) to me. Your Head Girl breaks just about every rule in one fell swoop, puts herself in a buttload of danger, and didn't even report her attackers and all she loses is 50 house points. Sometimes you have to love that school.
Elemental...WOW! I didn't even consider that one! Man, you are good. Nice prophecy and a great twist! Not funny, just cool! Lucky girl!
Harry's reprimanding her was funny to me, too. It's not like he wasn't a little "too busy" to force her to tell him what was going on with her. I know he cares, but being told by Snape and Draco is what he gets for being a "naughty little boy," even if he was doing Luna...I meant doing Luna a favor. ha ha ha
And, then not funny...poor Blaise and Sylvia. I guess it's time for the Army to plan its first recon mission, huh?
Great job, as always. I am completely captivated by this story!

How lucky am I? Two of my favourite stories updated at the same time. (Of course that makes me feel slack that I haven't done the same)
Hopefully Hermione realises now how wrong she was to keep the potion part quiet although I certainly don't blame her for supressing the other bit. Had to laugh at her thinking she was being kept prisoner in the hospital wing. How are they going to keep her safe though while she's studying or will she be a permanent resident in the library? I wonder who else Golye and Nott might have told about Hermione's 'condition'. And I also wonder how Ron's going to take the news too. Sheesh!! And ahh, Hermione's thinking about Draco 'like that'! Could be a saviour complex to be sure but I don't think so! LOL
And what a twist! A prophecy and the fact that she's an elemental???? WOW!! That would be a different kind of magic entirely. Does Nott's potion effect that side of her as well or is that one little surprise Voldie isn't counting on???? And as for what I thought of Luna and Harry's 'moment' - tres magnifique!!!!!! Next chapter please!!!!! :)

First time you've picked a song I didn't know. LOL I can just imagine Snape's face when Draco and Hermione came into the room together just as I can easily imagine how angry he would have been at her for taking so long to sort out what potion she'd swallowed. I guess Hermione is so used to be the person helping, she can't cope with being the one who needs help. I like to think he realised what else happened to her judging by their reactions alone but I desperately want to know what he's going to talk to Draco about when he gets back from the hospital wing. And what fate are they keeping from Hermione??? So many questions. LOL
As for Luna and Harry - HOT!! And how chivalrous of Harry to take care of her needs first and how typical of Luna to just come out and say I want this and I want it to be you who helps me get it. LOL And I love how astute she is, she knew he'd er 'help her out'. :) I should add that he did well not to explode before she did, given his age and all.

Oh honey, you are doing all kinds of things right. :-D My favorite stories are the ones where I get into them and want to cry or scream at the screen. You are doing just that. Go you! This chapter was just as great as the others, so, of course I enjoyed it. And, Harry and Luna...yeah for her (and you!). I absolutely loved Snape in this chapter, he was so perfectly...Snape! lol
