Wow. This is... I can't even put it into words. I'll try anyway.

It was just the other day that I decided to give Harry/Snape a shot. I usually go for Harry/Ron or Harry/Draco, but I thought, "why not try something with some age difference in this fandom for once?" I scanned some fanfic summaries until I came upon this. I have to say, I was surprised how strongly your story sucked me in. I was reading non-stop! It was like another J.K Rowling published another book and I had to absorb as much as I could in the shortest amount of time possible. Then the necessities of work and sleep got in the way and I had to put this on pause. And, finally, I finished reading what you have posted so far. Victory! I am just so much in love with what you have done, all that you have done. It has been a long while since I have felt very close and connected to fictional characters, so thank you for making that happen again for me. I hope you post another installment soon and eventually finish this story, no matter how much I don't want it to end. You probably don't get this a lot, because I know people can be uncaring and only read a fanfic and never comment, but I really appreciate all of the time and effort you have put into "Proof of Life." I myself cannot imagine writing a story at this great length. I would never finish! xD So, again, thank you and never stop writing and sharing your ideas!

OHMYGOD! I just couldn't lift my ass from the chair before I finished reading from the first to the last chapter (last for now, I hope)! I'm absolutely and completely overwhelmed by the story and I think I'm addiced to it now. And I'm not even HP fan though I know enough to understand all the details. Please keep up!

P.S. I just wanted to add that you got me a little scared when Diggory and his men appeared in Potter's house and tried to take Snape away and I was pretty sure they wouldn't just interrogate him if they succeed to take him away. Somehow I even thought they would set things that way that they would try to get rid of him, at least break him or even worse, he would end up kissed by Dementor. Illegally, of course. I know, it was stupid of me to think so and I didn't think you would end the story like this but after what Marietta said about what happens to people kissed by Dementors... >__<
I was glad that they failed. And Harry is quite brave to protect the one he loves standing against such forces as Ministry and Underground.

Wow! Just started reading this story, up to chapter 22 now & loving it. I'm generally not a fan of slave fics but love how you're staying true to the main characters & developing minor characters from the original story in your own way!
