So glad to see this update, it totally made my day. I love the cat haha it was a great idea to add him into the mix. I'm interested to see what happens with Harry and Ginny, this being a Snarry and all. Can't wait for the next installment!

fantastic! im absolutely in love with lily (in a totally non pedophile obsession way) but there are some passages that really could have used more description. im mostly thinking of harry's house when i say that. the first time we see it, there isnt a whole lot of developpement as to what it looks like. either way, update soon!

Okay, I'm not going to lie, this is the best story I've read in a long time. You go into great detail, and I love that everything isn't rushed. I'm going to be checking for updates, haha can't even wait to see more of this.

I love this story and always read it either here or at ff.net. This is the first time I've reviewed on either forum and the reason is to ask a question. In the books it's stated that Dumbledore has *more than one portrait.* And we know that portrait dwellers (pd) can move to where ever their other frames are hung. Hell, in the case of the Fat Lady (as I remember) pds can even move to other pds' frames. So while I can believe that those earlier paintings of Dumbledore might not be able to defend Snape's murder of himself I'm sure they (he?) could say that Snape was working for him.

While it sucks that Severus can't see easily Harry's intentions with Legilimens, it sucks harder that he can't use magic. That small flashback between picking up with wand was well placed and written. It was sad that even Harry's offhand remark about Sev not shaving made Severus think Harry must be up to something, but honestly, one chapter later (with Harry asking him the one thing he shouldn't have) Harry proves that he really isn't equipped for anything about this situation at all. Marietta's short dialogue with Harry about her unfair position because of what she did with Dumbledore's Army was an interesting peice to include, and I'm glad for the Middle Name of Lily that Harry named. That was nicely done. Great job with these last two chapters.

@Ch. 15. Oh, this is so exciting. I like how you're giving us both of their POVs, it really makes this story much richer and more complex. And now we see that harry has regrets about how he treated Snape as a child, but he shouldn't be so hard on himself, he didn't know what he knows now. I don't completely agree that Ron and Harry provoked Snape's cruel comments at Hogwarts, but I understand why Snape had such a grumpy disposition under the type of stress he was under. I like how you're not making Snape's recovering or adjustment quick and easy. This is going to be a long struggle, and you're honoring it by showing how each moment presents a new challenge for someone who's survived what he has. I LOL@Harry leaning forward when Snape pointed the wand at him....he's just like..whatever, get it over with. That was awesome. And now I wonder if Snape will find out what's going on in Harry's head. That may help him a bit if he can see his intentions are good. On to the next chapter. Excellent chapter Em.
