Ok that chapter definitely revealed quite a lot though I do wonder how Harry will let the ministry know what he found out or maybe he wont tell them. Ah this is getting really exciting

Woohoo on another chapter, and I'm SO glad Harry called Draco on being an ass. I am so in love with this story, I can't wait to see what happens when Harry gets to interrogate the death eaters. please update again soon the suspense is terrible!

ok so i've been watching this fic being updated on the harry/snape page and was always interested, but for some reason never read it
i started reading it like two or three days ago, i dont rly remember, and i've been able to read nothing else since...this story is really really good, and now i just want more.
part of me wishes i waited until the fic was finished so i could just read it all, but i always miss reviewing on new chapters when i do that...
its a great story, i think the conflict between harry and ginny is real and it feels right for them to be acting like adults, or the way they're acting, instead of just hating each other and fighting over lily,
who btw is amazingly adorable!!! she is sooo cute!
i feel bad for snape, or i felt bad for him at the beginning...now that he's with harry i think they need to start having some unknown feelings bout eachother...which they actally r so yea...
but GREAT story
i feel bad for Dray, but he kinda deserved what harry said
can't wait till the next chapter!!!

Great update, Emily. The interaction between Draco and Snape was wonderfully awkward, tense, and unsettled. I hate that Draco couldn't at least put up a brave face for Snape, that was the last thing he needed. But I know he's wrestling with his own demons and seeing Snape like that doesn't really help. I feel for them both, but Draco less, LOL. I'm glad that Harry didn't really take a lot of pity on him. Draco needs to grow a pair and stop being selfish (real canon by the way, good job on that.) I'm worried about Percy giving Harry access, I think it's gonna be helpful for Snape but I also worry about what Harry's gonna do...can't wait to see it: ) Very tense and realistic dialogue. Excellent job : )

I crave for more!!

The fast recovery of Severus astounded me somewhat, but I enjoy the tenderness, the consideration that shows in the interaction of the characters. It's good, for example, to see a couple break up without the usual irrational rows about who's fault it is and who should pay for what he's done to the other as it is often described in HP fanfiction when Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny, or another heterosexual couple breaks up.

I'm anxious to see/read how things evolve between Harry, Ginny, and Severus (I read till half past one last night and continued until I was done this morning even though I really need to take care of other things).

Some random thoughts that I wrote down while reading:

Chapter 2: I already found the statement strange that Prof. Snape would like it if Hermione went into his house and picked one of his possessions to keep it in his memory. He is way too much of a private person and never displayed any fondness for Hermione. However, that was a statement of Harry's in a moment of grief, and in such situations people often do not remember the deceased the way they truly were but see them in a gentler light. What I found very irritating, though, was that they walk into the house of a person that they weren't close to in lifetime and jump right into his bed without any trepidation. Do they have no respect for the private sphere of a dead?

Chapter 3: I liked the way you described Harry's marriage/general situation. It soundd very believable, normal. I wondered a little, though, why Harry would immediately get excited when a Death Eater claimed to know him. After all, he's Harry Potter - he is a publicly known person - and I could well imagine that he is often appealed to by people, eveb if it's only because he is known as the defender of a Death Eater (Snape) which might give people the hope that he is easily fooled into believing they're innocent, too.
