I've been enjoying this story for weeks now, and just wanted to let you know that it's definitely among my favorites. :) Very well written. Certainly in keeping with the characters. I'm excited to see how the relationships change as the story progresses. No complaints from me about the pace. Its refreshing to get a slash story with a long view. Thanks for writing. If you have a update list, please put me on it!

oh i feel sorry for snape it seems like his trying really hard to move forward but is in a constant rutt (wow that sounds so much like me on real life its sad T_T)

wow... this was an emotionally touchy chapter. i absolutely loved the scenes with marietta. again i congratulate you on bringing her into your fic and utilizing a character that most people have forgotten even exists. i feel for her plight. and i'm enjoying the friendship between she and harry. what i think i like most is seeing harry develop this network of relationships outside of ron and hermione. don't get me wrong, i love the golden trio but i also like seeing harry finding different kinds of support in other people. support which is just as secure and dependable. seeing that he can trust others outside his usual safety net. and i like that you've introduced others who care about the situation that's going on with severus and the state of the ministry. so much of harry potter's world revolves only around harry. you've managed to give this world weight and a realism that exists outside of harry. i like that. um, anything else? i do hope that harry and severus make a breakthru with some of their intimacy issues soon. i mean, your plot development is wonderful but i'm beginning to feel a bit angsted out. ha ha. anyway, great job :)

Another step or two back for Severus, but I still think he's doing remarkably well. I saw that reaction coming the second Harry fell asleep. I hope Marietta will be okay, what's more the ministry is being extremely stupid and petty, this will not end well for them, I guarantee it.

Oh my gosh, is Harry finally starting to look at Snape as something more than a person to feel pity and responsibility for? Severus just wants him so much, and I want Harry to want him back...

It was interesting to see the comparison of Neville's parents to Snape, taking what you can, accepting what you can't. I hope Harry finally sees what Snape actually needs instead of giving what he thinks he needs. Sometimes, people need more than a friend.
