And, whilst I hadn't noticed a lack of warning, I have been reading this chapter by chapter, so read the warnings at the beginning a long time ago. A N/C warning would be a good idea.

The kids seem to be well-written, though James seems to be acting very like his name-sake ... even though he only has Harry and Ginny (whom we assume to be kind) as influences. It reeeeally doesn't tie in with the story and makes the whole thing seem very two dimensional. Even more so than the lack of character development. Though your initial ideas were very good, you just seem to have run out of them, so it seems like nothing has been happening since Snape started being mean, Harry started being angry/sad and the kids started to get revenge. Which was a long, long time ago in fanfic terms.

I'm not sure I understand Harry's reaction in this chapter. He yelled at Severus, punched him once, and made that cutting remark about Lily - it's just not extreme enough. Severus seems to still be in denial about what he did ("It wasn't rape, but it wasn't anything else."), so HIS reaction and thoughts on the issue seem really in-character and appropriate. I can even understand that Harry would help Snape when the man collapsed; Harry wouldn't let someone die if he could help it. But offering to play nurse to the man who had just raped him - assist him around the house and help with his bath? It doesn't make much sense. I'm interested to see what Harry's "delayed reaction" is going to be, once the shock is gone and he's had time to think things through.

Hey, I really like this story, but I do have one question. All through the story it says what Snape is entitled to of Harry's, but wouldn't Harry also be entitled to Snape's things? Doesn't he have the same rights? I'm very curious.
