Rumi has always been a favourite of mine. And like the 'Song of Soloman' much ambiguity can be found in the use of pronouns. I think Lucius is doing a perfect job of courting Hermione without making her feel pressured or cornered. If the villain is indeed Liren, his penchant for sexual sadism toward his victims is founded, I think, in jealousy over Lucius moreso than Narcissa.

By the way, please don't let him kill off Tazura, I like her!

Had a sudden flashback to Snape's collection of pickled creatures in his office--brrr. Lucius reading poetry? Nice. Wonder how he'd do with Donne's 'O Sun'. Great, now how am I supposed to concentrate today? Good set up chapter.

I love that poem. Fantastic update! I can't wait for more. but I'm getting nervous for all involved. lol

Hm, I swear each chapter is like tantalizing foreplay as we wait with bated breath and pounding hearts to see if the two protagonists made headway. Just delicious little appetizers tempting us for the main course.

Well Liren, as I suspect is behind all of this, is a sick bastard isn't he? Who is his next target? I need to go back and re-read to see if I can guess. And obviously Liren has his eyes set on Hermione as well but he doesn't understand that she's not someone to be caught unawares. Oh I can't wait for that little 'meeting', I think Hermione might kick his ass a bit.

Sigh, can't wait for more.

What a sweaty, luscious sight that must have been. I'm surprised that Hermione remembered her name much less what she had come for. I'm beginning to think this Liren isn't dead at all, though it seems he might have deserved to be. The smell of danger is thick in the air. Maybe Narcissa should be more concerned. This story is hugely rewarding to read. Excellent writing, even better concept!

*grins and purrs* Lucius with his shirt off and working with a spear..... I'm surprised Hermione could even thing seriously about anything with that visual going on.
