well TECHNICALLY he was a good boy. BUT if Arabella should still see need to administer a spanking, as always, I am willing to take one for the team and go through the bother of reprimanding any of the Malfoy men. *sighs* Less than a month to go. Can't wait to see them both in the next movie. You know.... I was almost hoping that Lucius wouldn't go looking.... but then again, what man wouldn't?

Nice, action on three different fronts! Short chapter, but exciting as the plot seems to be clicking into focus and speeding up. Wonderful writing. You are consistently good!

A party? What shall we wear...oh, damn, didn't mean me. Pout. I loved it when Ara threatened to not beat Luc if he didn't behave. So where does a pseudo-deceased Malfoy hide in relative comfort and maintain his house-elves? Does Narcissa have a dower house? or his mother's dower house?

As much as she would protest it, Hermione is starting to come off as someone who _does_ need a big, strong wizard to protect her. Arabella, on the other hand, stands outside the lot with special magicks all her own. I loved her shaking the newspaper in Lucius' face! Perhaps _she'll_ be the one to come up with a plausible clue to the perpetrator's identity. I love how you write the conversations--so natural, as if I can hear them saying just those words. Great chapter. Thanks for updating.

Boy, I sure wish I could just selectively ignore the things about myself that I didn't want to address... Especially concerning people that I'm woefully suckerish for no matter what they do or what they're implicated in.... Who WOULDN'T want to look good for Lucius though?

I wouldn't wanna be a gelatinous step either! Though, I mightn't mind someone turning the FREAKING CAT into a gelatinous stair just about now.... she's delightfully mad, you know. Lucius is such a gentleman! He can go before me into curses and such any old day. Can he fend off crackheads too? He can come with me on BART!
