a great beginning!!!! I did wonder how it comes that Voldemort is so nice, but if Hermione is the soulmate of him, doesnt that mean that she is also a bit dark? please update soon!!!

I agree Voldemort too mushy here, but it could be a side effect of the potion, i.e. the "mushyness" facilitates the initial bonding and wears off after the first 24 hours. However, even if it has nothing to do with the potion, Voldemort being nice has already gotten Hermione to let down her guard and accept rules and restrictions without any argument. It sets up a "small bird held gently in an iron fist" situation (Voldemort makes Hermione comfortable and agreeable now, but at any time, could crush her without mercy).

I'm enjoying the story so far and look forward to more soon!

Hmmmm, I don't have a problem w/ him being nice to Hermione, it's just he's too "mushy" too soon. But I don't want him to Crucio and lock her in a dungeon either! A lot of HG/Voldemort stories are like that, and I really don't like it at all.
