Very intricate and psychologically plausible! Nobody ever deals with the PTSD that the trio would have had to deal with after the war, and I'm glad to see you doing it so well. I also love the idea of Hermione literally 'inventing' a wizard version of forensic procedures as she goes along. Question: if they still have samples of the killer's blood (he might not be the same as the bomber, in spite of the muggle-dyed hair) can they use it as a focus for a spell to locate or track him? Blood magic can be very powerful.

This is a great concept. I love that you've allowed Severus to grow and change, too. He's still a snarky jerk at times, but he allows others to see that he has a heart, too. Wonderful! Thanks. HG4eva

Reference: paraphrase of Joe Friday's "Just the Facts, ma'am". My Dad loved that show. He and Joe had the same haircut for years. Good pair of chapters, and I love how you've brought Lucius into it, very logical.
