Poor Severus to have lost all of his hard work with the plants that are needed in his brewing of potions, and other things too.

I love Hermione flirting with Severus. Too bad he has such a low self-esteem as to not be confident enough in his abilities to snag the girl for himself. Hopefully Hermione will go out of her way to worm her way into his life by being a continual presence and tempting him by her actions, mannerisms, nonverbal communication, comments, and state of dress.
Well done--keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to additional chapters.
