Ohhh...good chapter. Such interesting terms so far. I wonder what else Snape has up his sleeves. It was interesting to find out what happened to the other death eaters. It's good to know that they got what they had coming to them.

As with most of your work I've read, I am throughly amazed. Very unique from most marriage law fics. Dare I say, much better than most of the ones I've read. I was getting a weary of them all but I love this. I love how you've captured Hermione. It's different but in a way, this is the most real I've ever seen her in this kind of fiction. It's lovely.

Ergh, of course. Andrew ffolkes, the blonde friend who married Margeurite's friend. God, I feel an idiot. I think it was the description that threw me off. and yes, Moore did 'The Saint' when he was younger. Love the idea that he's stringing her along to get his Manor updated while he's in prison, but I do feel a bit sorry about his feelings at being the last Death Eater.

Wow. Brilliant story!! I love the prison thing on the same basis as you... its different! Different stories are much more interesting to read. There are definately too many stories that have Snape pardoned or there is some lingering attraction from their Hogwarts days... I've read heaps of them and they all sound the same after two or three! I like longer ones that actually have a story line. (though pwp's have their own kind of appeal)
I also agree with you on the Ron and Hermione pairing... I've always thought that she was far too active in her life to settle down and want the family that he would. I was most dissapointed when Rowling paired them... but thats why fanfiction is so awesome! You get to play with her characters and make them dance the way YOU want them to... not how she wanted them to!
All in all, a great story, I can't wait to read more!

Lovely! I just love the Marriage Law-theme. It's fantastic how you describe the idea of Moine marrying Snape. And the scene in Ascaban is written so neatly that you can almost smell the dirt. Please, please go on soon. I'm curious to know what terms Severus comes up with. And will he stay in the jail? oh, I'm not so sure about that.

The Roger Moore movie about the irascible, cat-loving, woman-hating, whiskey-drinking and needlepoint enthusiast counter-terrorist agent 'ffolkes'? Yes, 2 small 'f's". like the chapter, too.
