Sorry, hon. I didn't mean to be cryptic. I just hate to have a wrong guess written down for posterity. lol Okay, here you go. I think he thinks regardless of his good deeds, and ultimately of his sacrifices, he deserves to be punished, to suffer, for all the things he did wrong. He was a Death Eater, whether he wanted to be one or not, and he committed horrific crimes and treated people horribly. And, being in Azkaban, no matter how awful, gives him the time to think and suffer alone. He doesn't have to face his past or even his future. He doesn't have to do anything for the first time in a long while. And, in a warped way, his life is in his control for the first time since he was a teenager, as long as he alone holds the key to his release. So, he stays.
But, now he may have a reason to finally get himself released...
There. How was that? lol How far off am I? :-)
I am really enjoying this story, as I think you can now tell. ha ha ha So, please update again soon. Thank you. HG4eva

It must be difficult to be 'successful'. I certainly wouldnt know. Still...Hermione seems to be taking it well. I wonder what Severus will do once he discovers how wealthy Hermione is. Which in itself is a different story. Usually its a wealthy Snape and middle class Hermione. Another great chapter! Waiting impatiently for the next.

I want to start by saying, I love your story already and it's only the second chapter! You have given Hermione her spine back! I honestly thought the poor girl had her backbone ripped from her, thanks to fandom. Don't get me wrong, I love a cliche Snape/Hermione PWP as much, maybe more, than the next person. But, I find your story so refreshing. Hermione is a determined, independent, smart girl- not some flimsy damsel a lot of fan fic tends to turn her into. And Snape! You remembered his beard! I haven't read a Snape/Hermione fic in ages that mentioned Snape's beard- I remember he had a beard from the first book and on, but fandom seemed to have forgotten that. And you spared no expense avoiding the cliche sexing-Snape-isms. Again, I'm a fan of fandom Snape; but sometimes I hunger to get away from the Fabio-like being fans have morphed him into. You mentioned his large nose, the sharp facial features, and oh I could go on. I really do like this story and I can hardly wait to read the rest. I just had to stop though and let you know how much I apperciate your fan fic.

AV - more jolly good work. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed in a while! I really enjoy how you throw HG back into the blender of her life after her wedding. You convey a very good sense of where her head is...quite, quite far from her husband.
Cheers, and thanks for writing,

"The Law of Expanding Crap"?!?!? LMFAO!! Who are you? Are you related to Clausius and Thomson? Holy fuck, appyling the 2nd law of thermodynamics to Hermione's organizantional system is classic!!!!! (Not done yet - to my knowledge) But then again, SS/HG=Entropy.
Love this!
