Congratulations, your being added to my personal list of worthwhile fic writers. I love the dynamic you've set up for Snape and Granger. I feel if you had the time to devote to writing a novel that Snape's warming to her would go even slower. I think you caught him best in the moment of being unable to accept the first packages. No mater how egotistical he seems you can always tell that Severous doesn't feel that he is worthy of being cared for.

Poor Hermione. I think Lee should have been more understanding... although she did use glamours to cover her tiredness so people might not have known.
Maybe she could get Severus to help her with stuff or finding another person to hire for her charms team?

I love that your latin is improving and excpect the chapter titles will become more elongated and harder to pronounce as the story progresses!
In answer to your question - I think Severus needs much more than a hug to solve his problems, but it's always a good start!!!
Loved this update and Hermione being able to talk to him. Bless him, he's a bit of a soft touch, even if he does keep it well hidden!
