Oh wow... I could almost feel the emotion coming from Severus as he confessed all to Hermione. Awesome chapter! Wonder what she will do next though... he's left her with options but not many choices.... interesting that she said she couldn't wake up to his face each day. I thought she was starting to warm to him!

Yes, my holidays were good, thank you!

So, one more step taken in their relationship... I wonder how long it will take Severus to wvercome his guilt. At least enough to want to be fee from prison. Only somebody without a soul and concious could feel completely guilt-free after killing somebody. Be it because the person in question wanted it, in self defence or as murder.

Merc killing is a very difficult subject, although I would plead in favour of it if a dying patient in pain asks for it. It doesn't make it any less dificult.

Now, Hermione only has to learn to accept the fact that her hsuand is guilty and innocent at the same time. Quite a lot to carry, especially in a not so much wanted relationship!

I can totally see both sides of this argument. I mean if it was me, ordered or not, I would feel guilty. A life taken is a life taken. Look at people who get into car accidents which result in someone dying. Some people never recover from that. I can't totally fathom what it would be like to basically be forced to kill someone. To knowingly do that. Anyway, fantastic update, I can't wait for more!

So it isn't Dumbldore's death he is atoning for, it's all of them. That's an impossible goal even for an emotionally damaged man. Talk about a strayed sheep. I think he should realize that Albus the saint has a lot more penance needed than he does. Above all else, both Harry and Severus were pawns for both sides, nothing more. Albus took a way out that was both convenient and useful, that's all.

This chapter really got to me. What a waste of human life and so pointless... The adults I understand, but the children? Severus is in for it. And Hermione has another campaign in the works I think. Always great reading this story and it gets better all the time :)

Long time since I dropped the last review... Well, I had to profit from my holidays, right?

Loveley updates, although I must admit that I don't quite understand why Hermione reacts so badly to the fact that Severus is innocent. Okay, I get that she's probably terrified at the idea that he might get out of Askaban at one point. After all that is exactly what she did not want in the beginning.

On the other hand, shouldn't she be happy that he's not the cruel murderer she thought him to be? Well, maybe I do understand why she's upset. Plus she probably does beat herself up in proper Hermione-style because she misjudged him so severely. That would just make sense for a woman like her.

You starteled me with the Methodist church. I had to look that one up, I wasn't aware that it was actually common in England. Thought it was more a US thing. It stroke me as funny actually, that one of the main groups in England are part of the "Wesleyan Methodism". Reminded me of our favourite redheads. You never stop learning, I am probably more catholic than I thought (and thus quite a bit ignorant about the different protestant Churches).

Sooo... Wondering what she will tell snape now, after she knows what happens to all the others. He might be in for a small shouting match, I guess!
