"...matured into a vivacious assertive witch that pushed all his buttons, and he was a man who had many buttons."

Has to be in my top 10 fanfic lines ever :D

Wonderful story. I'm certainly hoping for a Hot kiss at New Year, something to get her simmering!

I wonder how the wards would react to that?

I'm so, so disappointed. I've missed so much. =[
But, everything was so wonderful to come back to.

I'm so excited about this tentative relationship, I can't wait until it blooms.
Also, I'm curious about your smut abilities. ;]

My dear AV,

While I am sure you and your darling will have a grand time in The Big Easy, I regret I am at a loss to head you to a good hotel. I always stayed with friends, and my last visit was in, lessee, 1997 or so. So sorry! However, I have little doubt that your tourist dollars will be well-spent in the National World War II Museum ( www.nationalww2museum.org ). It's on Magazine St, just a few blocks off St. Charles and probably an easy walk from the streetcar. Also, I'd advise you to skip the frozen daiquiris; not enough alcohol in the dang things for the price. The opposite is true of a drink called a Hand Grenade. Skip those, too.

I am (gasp) a Yankee! But I do have family in the South, and only your mention of your husband prevents me from asking if you're actually my cousin Ann.

(and yes! Another strong chapter! But now I think I'm getting impatient for them to warm up again. And are we going to get a look at Chez Snape?)

Thank you ever so much for writing.

Cheers,
CB

i feel i must tell you how utterly wonderful i find your writing. your characterisation of snape is truly gifted and your hermione has matured into the sort of women i've always imagined. the pace of the fic is spot on having their relationship grow in a realistic fashion. i also love the sort of rakish quality your snape has, the man who's robes billowed so majestically is still there even though all his material armour has been striped away.

well done and please keep writing.
