Thanks for the clarification ... I apologize for the dumb question. As soon as I read your response I had a literal head smack moment. Sometimes it can suck to be me. Regardless, excellent job again and I think I'll take the proffered cigarette - even if I don't smoke - Thank you! I guess I was wrong about the whole "brain kicking into gear" guess. In this instance though I'm quite happy I was wrong ... Just don't ever tell my brothers I said that - they'll make it a national holiday or something. I like how you gently point out both that Snape isn't such a bad guy and that Hermione is a little self absorbed with their conversation. Using the example of another student in her class who was just as smart but much less pushy was a brilliant stroke. I also laughed out loud about the singing the one part of the song she knew over and over - I'm prone to doing that a bit myself, it's a nice way to connect with your reader. Which, I might add, you're doing beautifully. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the story as you get it written.

I can see Severus's point about Hermione in class. But I also understand why Hermione was like that. But the explanation of all of this would take more energy to write than I have at the moment. lol Great update, and it's great to be back and able to review again. Can't wait for more!
