This was a wonderful, yet sad chapter. I hope that Severus will realize that Hermione is never coming back unless he apologizes and agrees to go home with her. I think it will take seeing the papers for their divorce to make him see that he really hurt her this time. Saying the things he did showed that he is cruel, but I believe that he truly loves her no matter what he says. I look forward to reading the next chapter to see what happens.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hermione went off the wagon and used that happy potion again...

Keep it up girl. You had me crying with this chapter, and I consider that a sign of really good writing.

I'll take the hugs and the hankies. This chapter has me sobbing my heart out. I could really feel Hermione's pain, it was so real for me. And as for Saint bloody Severus. It would serve him bloody right if she doesn't go back. Why should she after he made her life seem a mockery?

Brilliant chapter and so worth the wait... it's actually worth reading all of the other chapters JUST to get to this one. Well done, honey. You're a genius.

Even though I've been an avid reader of this story since the beginning, I think this is the first time I've actually reviewed. This chapter made me cry, and that's not something that happens often...so congratulations? lol

In all seriousness, I hope this doesn't end badly. Badly as in Hermione and Severus actually getting a divorce. That just seems too...easy. I could obviously feel Hermione's heartbreak but I also felt Severus' longing for her to come back there at the end. Let's just hope those two can work it out.

Talk about cutting someone off at the knees! That was beyond cruel and he just kept going. Next Azkaban meal, Severus? Your balls roasted on a platter! Poor Hermione. This wait for the next chapter is going to be especially torturous. Well, Severus needed a good kick in his ass and he's sure going to get it. Kick him, Hermione, kick him!

Divorce?! I didn't see that coming. I thought brave Gryffindor Hermione would tolerate anything, believing eventually she could wear him down. Which one thinks they are the bigger martyr? LOL Now she wants out. Severus will have a lot of back pedalling to do now. Why can't he just admit he's wrong. He's so stubborn, and he's never learned it only makes matters worse for him. He still thinks that happiness comes with too many strings attached or the fates will pull the rug out from under him. Men! Love the story, AV.
