This made me so sad. I am convinced that I would have the same over-inflated angry reaction, one that I might regret later on, but thinking of Severus standing there watching as all "his things" were packed up and taken away... I got teary. Of course, this is what needs to happen, but still :)

What broke my heart the most was him hiding his wedding band from her, afraid she would take it. God, that just shattered me.

That was no coup de grace`, that could best be classed as a pyrrhic victory: taking the fatal hit and going down in flames with the opponent. Now, what can Severus do to rise from the ashes of his marriage? Can't wait to see what happens next--she'd better give him back his slinky!

I just read through this story from beginning up to chapter 48. I'm sitting here trying to come up with suitable words to express just how good I think the story is. You've reduced me to checking every day for chapter 49...I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow... I very nearly cried. Very well written, very heartwrenching, and very well thought out. Severus was ridiculously callus in this one! Poor Hermione!

I've had to read this three times before I could leave a review. Last weekend, I read the entire story, as posted to date. It is amazing! But this chapter, my heart broke. This chapter, I cried and actually yelled, out loud, to Severus through my computer screen. I had been reduced to obscene name calling and general foul language, because it felt as if he broke my heart.

Ch 48: This story is so refreshing and real. You keep Severus and Hermione true to their characters and for that I thank you.

There were 699 reviews. Now it's 700. Sorry to be a waste of space, but it seemed a shame to leave it teetering on the brink. Speaking of teetering on the brink, how about another chapter? LOL. Kidding, take your time. It'll be worth it.
