Wonderful fic...even with the touchy subject. You did a wonderful job of showing the pain and consequence of such actions. I really loved the quote at the start of each chapter. They fit so perfectly. It is nice to read a Lucius fic where he is repentant and remorseful and...human. Your sex scenes were HOT! and the foreplay awesome! You are the first author who has inspired my to consider trying a HP fic for a change...
Thanks!

I stayed up until 4am reading this fantastic story! I am such a Lucius fan and seeing a softer side of him was wonderful! I cried and felt all fuzzy towards the end chapters!
Good job!

Lovely story...I'm not too big on affair stories, but this one turned out very nicely. I'm just sad that it took twelve years for Draco to come around. But I guess in the end, he /did/ come around and that's all that matters. Great job!

This was a wonderful story, from a very talented author. I was never put off by the plot and I think it played out the way it was supposed to. I cried a box of tissues for two broken people desperately in need of comfort and companionship. Even though I knew they were wrong, and that innocents would be hurt, I was not surprised to see respect lead to friendship and then to love. I really loved the Epilogue--I'm such a sap.

I thought you did a wonderful job with difficult subject matters; infidelity, death of a child, alcoholism, depression, spousal mental abuse, and what could be described as Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome on the part of Lucius perhaps. The reactions of the characters and the way their friendships develop and grow as well as those that grow apart seem to be described from an experienced point of view. I have lived through some of these life experiences and I think your tale is very well done.
