haha - i am laughing my head off at Ron - he didnt deserve Hermione for ten minutes, let alone ten years - he should be on his knees thanking her for the years she wasted on his worthless self. I hope he does something useful with his life, like end it!

this story was beyond fabuloous. Sorry for lack of reviews, it was too good to stop reading. You captured all the characters perfectly. And the situation is real. I only wish there was more.

This is my favorite Lucius/Hermione story. It was beautifully written. The emotions were very raw. I loved it. Fantastic job. Absolutely wonderful.

Lovely story. I love the line about how Lucius breeds Slytherins. Hermione does act awfully Slytherin in many ways, especially in fanfic. I guess that's why I can *so* see her with Snape or Lucius. The combination of her Slytherin tendencies and her Gryffindor need to make them feel better. : ) Loved this story. -Clare (By the way, I lost a child to SIDS when she was 10.5 weeks old. Your descriptions of how people treat you, the disgust with the overflow of flowers, the fact that noone will say your child's name or mention them - it's perfect. I was actually told by a doctor at work after only a couple months that I should be able to deal with patients with babies because I should have 'gotten over it' by now. (I had a problem for awhile doing vital signs on baby checkins because I'd cry... she thought it should'nt bother me.)) So anyway, great job. Your descriptions of Hermione's pain were EXACTLY what I felt like. -Clare

I could not stop reading this wonderful story. I'm glad they got their happy ending as I've seen too many Affairs crash and burn.

I read this last night, with my head phones on, favorite music playing but I didn't hear it. I was too engrossed in the story. I'm amazed at your notes "chappie before work". LOL! How can you churn out such wonderful stuff so easily? Do you have a muse whispering in your ear the entire time you write?
I love Lucius in this story. I love that he's a "man" and not a characture. I know you often wrote that you were concerned how people would respond to this story, but I think that you perfectly captured how things like this can happen, and often how people see their own relationships hanging in the balance.
I've marked this story as one of my favorites, and I'm sure when Lucius starts running through my mind again, I'll come back to read this story again and again.
Well done!

I really enjoyed reading "The Affair". Not only is the pairing a favorite of mine but the epilogue! I almost died when you kept introducing beautiful little Malfoys. Their personalities were so well portrayed for only having a glimpse of them. As usual, your work is both entertaining and well written. Thank you very much!
