Yes, I am actually shocked. Ron is not as much of an idiot as it seemed. Harry is right, if he can't overcome his depression and seek out help it will be too late for reconciliation. I am ashamed to say that I don't want to see the end of Lucius' and Hermione's affair in case he sees reason. That your story is titled The Affair makes me fear the worst, as it does not exactly suggest something permanent. Sorry, Ron, got to take sides here.

Now you've gone and confused and conflicted me. It would have been much simpler if Ron was out cheating. Now I am left feeling guilty for wanting Lucius and Hermoine together.

Narcissa the witch - seems to be starting with the wrong letter :) So, Ron is really just wasting away & not cheating? That's surprising. Well, not really that surprising. Why would he get off his duff when he can just whine about his wife slipping away? I feel sorry for him too though! This really is complex & I'm almost scared to see how things end...

I'm very taken in by this story. I love the characters and I love the unique story line. I still, though, can't wait to see what happens when they are discovered by Ron or Narcissa - you know that is coming! I'm also very curious about exactly what Ron is up to. Going with the boozing, something tells me it is not an affair of his own. I actually do feel sorry for your Ron. He must learn to come to terms with his grief. Right now, it is consuming and destroying him. Unfortunately, I do think that irreparable damage to his marriage.

I really don't see why they don't both do the snesible thing, get divorces and get on with the rest of their lives. Scandal is nothing compared to the misery of living with someone you don't love. Their partners have already broken their marriage commitments, so there's no moral obligation to stay. And a man who is prepared to murder his way to power isn't one that worries about a bit of scandal.

Kill Ron, frame Narcissa, problem solved.

I think this is the first time I've reviewed this one but after reading chapter 19, I just had to review. I hate adultery - bad memories - but the way you've written this, I'm so torn about their affair.

It's so sad how Ron and Hermione have drifted apart and I can't make up my mind if Ron is actually having an affair or not. It's just incredibly well written, the way Lucius and Hermione have fallen for each other and I'm rooting for them to be together. Of course, I'm probably half rooting for them anyway cos I don't like canon Ron and Hermione.

I get so excited when I see a new chapter is up because I just don't know how it's going to turn out. Although. now Draco has his suspicions, It's only a matter of time before someone finds out as well. It looks like it's going to turn into love for the both of them and that just opens up a whole can of worms.

This has to be one of your best stories ever, the situation and feelings are just so real. I better stop writing before I start creeping you out.

I'm really not fond of Draco. Usually I am but not this time. But, I can sort of understand him too. Wierd as it is.

It's so sad that they have found eachother and could have a future with all he saw, but the the things that would come out if they divorced their spouses. It would so not be pretty.

But one thing, I'm assuming they are using protection of some sort or can we expect a surprise comming along soon enough?
