Excellent work! I'm glad to hear you and yours are feeling better. That stomach flu has a kick like a mule. Take the risk on new, riskier plots! The only failure in doing so is in giving up before you give it a chance. Great update and I can't wait for more.

Yes, I am shocked Ron is not seeking affection elsewhere. You got me there. So he is just drowning his sorrows. That is pretty sad after all this time. I was going to say pathetic, but I am going to cut him some slack. Narcissa is a piece of work. She doesn't care if her husband has an affair, she just doesn't want him to be happy. She is a sick puppy.

wow what a great update... ok so ron is not cheating but in a sense he is cheating with with his alcohol... but everyone deals with grief differently and i wish that he could fix all of the wrongs that have been made but i am afraid that he may have already lost hermione??? and GO figure narcissa would only want lucius miserable... and draco is definitely observant... great chap

All right, whether or not you decide to put Lucius and Hermione together by the end or not, his marriage to that vain, shallow, viciously embittered woman has got to end. Even if Hermione and Ron get back together, Lucius needs to be freed. With his emotions once again his own he can find someone to stay happy with, as long as that vindictive cow is out of the way. Congratulations, by the way, on creating a character that I feel free to dislike so whole-heartedly! She reminds me of my brother's ex-wife. Excellent characterizations for the update.

what a guy, keep all the emotions hidden inside yourself, and drink it away, I was sure that he was cheating. I love the interaction with draco and his mom. Finding out she is more troubled with him being happy, that who he is in bed with. She does seen a bit heartless.
