I just love love love Pansy, that "fight" between her and Hermione was the highlight of the chapter.

I really enjoy how you cover all the bases of each character's POV - it's like a Hogwarts CW show unfolding before our very eyes. The theme of this chapter for me was two-fold: going out of your comfort zone and making your own decisions in life. Draco's assumption of "I have to marry Pansy" was the proverbial arrow hitting the proverbial bulls eye. My first question was "why and who says"? I was applauding Sev's speech. They've just lived through a war to fight for their freedom, they have the opportunity to pave their own roads - break free for goodness sakes.

I was fisting my hand in the air yelping in glee at Pansy's courage to NOT go through the sham of a marriage. She has to just do what she knows is right - her parents disappointment be damned, this is HER LIFE. What about her disappointment in the whole pureblood BS? We all deal with disappointment and get over it. Pansy will have tons of support around her when she shares her news and Draco will be thrilled. Those two need to have a heart to heart by the way.

Can't wait for the next installment.

absolutely amazing chapter! I actually love how you're portraying Draco and Pansy, like they need someone to love. Draco needs someone to be the gallant chivalrous husband that he can be devoted to, and Pansy too. I love the pace you've set with this story hun, not too fast and not too slow. This is sooo well written! Can't wait to see what happens next!

I must say, I'm still reading. You've written Pansy too deliciously for me to stop reading! I am interested in seeing how the story progresses and I'm so happy you are taking the time to set it all up, and give loads of details in the changes in Hogwarts before jumping into "meatier" things. I respect that you care enough for the characters and your own work to set things up so well. True, I'm disappointed with how Ginny behaved, in fact, I think Harry has a bit of right to be put off by it after some time.

Keep up the good work, I'm going to keep checking in daily for updates ;)

Terrific couple of chapters. I loved Snape's dressing-down of Blaise. Just what he needed. And, poor Draco! He's on the Emo Freight-train of Love, innee? :D

I liked what Pati told Draco about the way he behaved towards Hermione. She is completely right.
Will someone ask Draco why he is interested in someone else that is not his promised wife? Because he is saying that Hermione is free now, but he forgets that he is not free.

Wow - Blaise has alot on his shoulders. I think he hates himself more than anything for being powerless and helpless in relation to his mother. Does he hate Hermione, I don't think so as that would imply knowing who she is, he hates what he feels she represents which is something he doesn't even fully comprehend himself.

WOW about Dumbledore, there's more to tell there and I await with bated breath. More Draco/Hermione please.

There's work cut out for Blaise and for Draco too. Draco has to muddle through his feelings but wow, can't believe he said what he did aloud! Ron needs to just stop being a git and I was so happy that Hermione put him in his place - can't stand grabby hands. And Ginny? Well, go girl - space is sometimes a good thing. I forgot it was only the first day - wow, lots happened. I'm exhausted! LOL.

On to day two - I hope Draco grows some and Hermione needs to remain open when it comes to him - just a bit. I hope Pansy helps her. Am loving my Pans more and more, no really. So glad my Hot Nott is finding a bit of romance with the lovely Vati.
