Thank you so much for the update, I was so happy to see that you haven't forgotten your readers:-))
I hope the letter Snape wrote were mostly aimed to get a rise out of Hermione and stir her into acition? I would hate to se this being one fo the fics where Snape (I won't call him Severus before I am sure I am going to like him at all:-)) finds the pleassure to tell Hermione what a stupid, medicore, idiot she is, far less in value than his perfect self, but if she more or less publicly admit that she is said idiot and beg his forgiveness for thinking that she even had the rigth to bread the same air as him, he migth consider accepting having her around. As you probably have guessed, that is not my kind of plot. Not only do I most firmly believe that Snape is the last one who should held himself as better than Hermione, considering his own mistakes, seccondly, one must ask what the reaction would have been if the Gryffindor mudblooded best friend of the hated Potter had dared to openly stray outside the books during his lessions. The scorn she received for even knowing what the books they were supposed to read said, would seemed like him singing her praise in the Daily Prophet compared to what he would have said and done if she had dared defy what he in the classroom told them to do.
I think I will stop my rant there and actually wait to see where the story goes:-))

Loved the letters, and the fact that she's nicer to his raven than he is! Maybe he can brew her something for her anxiety attacks?

OK, I'm definitely hooked! And seriously curious to find out who Norton is and how he's connected to Hermione. Is he related to her somehow or did she find him somewhere? And I hope Ron gets his for being such a colossal arse ... I mean, surely he would know Hermione better than to make such erroneous, damaging and hurtful assumptions!

this is an amazing story. Who is Norton though? Has he some form of autism? And how come his hands are deformed and arthritic? Please let me know the details. I can't wait to read more. Keep up the good work

I really like the start you have here and I can't wait to see just who Norton is and what is the matter with him. Also, just how did Hermione become his caretaker? I'm looking forward to reading more.
