I am an avid reader, so it was very nice to have this story up and complete in a couple of days!
I think that a companion story would be a great idea - there are so many things that you could do with it, even knowing how the outcome will ultimately be. I always struggle with Dumbledore when he is written as over-medling, and even so convinced that he is absolutely right in everything he does, that he is almost evil. I guess for me, the problem is that when I read the first book, and saw the first movie, I felt so badly for Harry and how he hade been treated by his 'family' that the loving and grandfatherly Dumbledore was such an easy character to like. Finally, Harry had an adult in his life who cared for him, encouraged him and wanted to see him do his best. Don't we all wish that we had someone like that? However, in your story, given what a self-centred little twerp Harry turned into, and can accept the Dumbledore that you have written. The ending felt a little bitter sweet, with Hermione and Severus unchanged, and not aging, while their friends and collegues 'move on' as it were. I wonder, since she would become a pariah if society knew that she was a vampire, would they not have to alter their appearance in some way? And rather soon because if Harry now looks like the grandfather he is, they would not to be able to keep their secret. Or was that why they are disappearing?

How can William return to his "pack" when he isn't attacked until the attack they are talking about protecting? It makes me a little confused on the timing of the meeting.

I think I may have more questions than Harry at this point. I do love the twist the story has taken though. I can't wait to see what Tonks has to say she was in love with Remus after all so that should be interesting. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!!

Oooh I am loving this already - I am so intruiged - are they still in love? Why have they been living apart if they're married?
