That was deeply touching. As a mother myself, I can appreciate the ... driving urge to Make Sure that there are children, and grandchildren, and many many more. As a mother, I can appreciate the overriding imperative that my children are happy and deeply loved. Your portrayal is perfect, as always; complex and lyrical. Narcissa *glows* in your light.

This has to be the best story I have read from you, and I have pretty much devoured all others. This made me gasp, clutch at my heart, and fall in love with these characters all over again. I adore the characterization of Narcissa and Lucius, and of course, the combined traits you so eloquently described in Draco.
