Interesting start to the story. I like how Harry and Snape come together in the snow. You did a great job putting together Harry's horrific past. I loved the way you fleshed him out. The only thing you wrote that tripped me up was Harry's initial description by Snape, which led me to think Harry and the gang were much younger than seventh year. Otherwise, good work!

Great story, I can't wait to find out what happens next. Poor Harry having to drag Sev with a burnt arm in the snow. What's going to happen when Sev wakes up though? Please continue soon, homework doesn't matter in the fanfiction world :}
