This was a great chapter. I am glad that Hermione was able to get away from Lucius even though she can't leave the Manor. I patiently await the next chapter to see what happens.

I'm glad you didn't have Lucius hit her. I'm sure he would have if he were still a death eater though. Luckily Severus saved the day so to speak. Great chapter.

This was a great chapter. I look forward to read the next one soon. I hope that Hermione won't get punished too severely by Lucius now that she smacked him.

Dang this is good! I think I prefer this to the 'lighter' one. Lucius should have a bit of 'dark control freak' to him after all he was a death eater. I hope you are feeling better. Chronic illnesses are difficilt to live with. I have a son who has special needs and he takes up much of my time. I'm lucky that his condition is treatable and he can go on to a fairly normal life even if he will most likely need medications for the rest of his.
Either how, I'm really enjoying the story and I hope your hands (and brain) is doing well. Good luck in your treatments I hope they work well for you.

Lucius is mad and Draco and Severus HAD to have been covering it up for a while, now. She is in a great deal of danger, I think; especially if he claims to love her. He could kill her without realizing it. Or as a means to isolate her from the rest of the world. Or as a means of preserving her looks. or on a whim. The only good thing about his actions is that Draco can have him declared non-compos and held in st Mungps and Hermione can retire on the Malfoy wife's allowance.

Oh, wow. I didn't realize unstable Lucius is. Hermione has her work cut out for her. Nice to see that she wasn't completely subdued by Lucius' little trick.
Goodness, I barely finish one review only to have to go write another one. Whatever shall I do?

Aw, Lucius was so gallant. Pansy was such a bitch. Insulting the supposed mother-in-law to be is not the wise way to get in good with the family.
