Wow. Ron goes beyond denial into outright ignorance of the obvious. I've never seen it that bad since 'Things I'm Not Allowed to do at Hogwarts' by Roozette over at hpfandom.

Ugh! This makes me want to slap Ron, beat the shit out of him, and bury the body! I hated his attitude, but loved his humiliation during the story...is that possible?!

I felt so bad for Harry! lol I had a feeling that the only way to convince Ron would be for Harry to be bottom, but jeez. This leads nicely to Harry's birthday party and how Ron believes that Draco is setting up for revenge (with cake?). I didn't entirely appreciate Ron's thoughts here towards Hermione (books as a coping method?) but you translated the frustration of everyone well despite Ron's constant denial. Favorite scene is definitely Harry and Ron near the Forbidden Forest. How embarassing!
