this story is very, very moving. I like that you write the story with a sense of realism, not leaving out any of the nitty-gritty parts most authors tend to skip. It is incredibly hard to read only because the content is so very morbid and intense, almost a Holocaust-like setting that cuts to the core of the reader. Excellent job, please continue.

Severus should... That's cruel! I hope she can forgive him!

I think I know why I let the 'Why is Severus so daft' comment. If it was made after Chapter 12, I meant he has been a spy for decades, he

(Chapter 13)
You're forgiven! :D
As always, the big perk of proofing this story for you is that I get to read it first!
I have to confess, I'm at a loss as to what exactly your other reviewer was referring to when she asked since when Severus had been daft. The dictionary defines "daft" as: 1. senseless, stupid, or foolish. 2. insane; crazy. 3. Scot. merry; playful; frolicsome, and I see nothing of any of those definitions in his actions. It's not daft for a man who carried a torch for a dead woman for over twenty years to want to protect, even sacrifice his own life, for the living woman he's in love with. Ginny has been there for Severus, taking care of him when he was injured, offering understanding and solace after Greyback's abuse of him. He's grown to love her, and I think she symbolises not only love to him, but also hope in a hopeless situation, and it's perfectly believeable that he would do what he could, even sacrifice himself, for the woman he loves.
This chapter was harrowing to read, as were all the other chapters that contained examples of Greyback's evil viciousness, but like all those others it was well written. Nobody writes this sort of dark story like you do, and I say that not only because I'm your beta/proofreader. I'm your beta/proofreader because nobody writes like you do, and because it's my pleasure to be able to be so.

Eww! This was evil, even for this kind of story! Since when has Severus become daft?

I don't like the sound of it. Grayback is just plain evil and disgusting. And he will turn her into werewolf! Poor Ginny!

Well that was the best chapter so far in this story, probably because there were no werewolves in it.

Well I certainly liked this chapter better than some previous ones. Hopefully they can stay at Malfoy manner.
