Usually, we have Harry and Draco being the good guys, with this evil bitch ginny trying her hardest to break them up.

You, however, have made each of them very real charcters that act like the typical human beings. None of us know what the heart wants, we can only interpret as we see fit. Ginny has been infactuated with Harry since before she met him, and it only makes sense that eventually, she'll call it love, whether it is or is not.

This story doesn't have a good guy, or a bad guy (perhaps Malfoy for breaking them up, but if not him, then someone else would've come along), it has the flawed beauty that makes us all humans.

...But that's just my take on it.

Okay, I just HAVE TO admit that this was different, even for you, but you do
branch out nicely with your imaginations and need to try something different
every once in a while.

Answering "Ginny's" thoughts of whether Harry understands "ephemera"...No, I wouldn't think Harry believes in that or like that. He, like she says Draco does, treasures every fleeting moment with also the hope to make it last. I think Sirius is the best example of that. Harry has had ENOUGH fleeting moments where he is finally given kindness for it to be snatched away easily (the public after the fourth book, Dumbledore, etc) Excellent peice. There were times when I was physically and mentally tense, just waiting to flash my own triumphant grin and pounce on a selfish comment Ginny makes. However, you write it in such a way that I'm sure she isn't entirely delusional, and that she really does believe that she understands Harry. Not the same impression I get from damsel-in-distress-fan Ginny in the books. I loved the moment first when Ginny is faced to listen to something she doesn't understand about Harry, the parties thing. Even more so when Draco said ironically that Ginny didn't appreciate the little things. As for the things SHE did for Harry...well...I'm not sure if the cupboard thing was to point out that Harry was looking back and smiling at how much better things are (which would of course mean she didn't understand why, or why he looked at the "sleet gray" [Draco's eyes?] sky), but the idea that she held his hand while he "beared" to tell her about his past...it sound less encouraging and more like she was forcing it and expecting it out of him. That was the only point I felt her delusional despite her looking at his reactions for her and seeing caring there where there was actually nervousness. I didn't hate her here really, although I could see her understandably getting more selfish when she was forced to face realities of Harry. Wonderful job.

this is really good.

is ginny really that selfish? i had that opinion through the story, but to see harry confirm it...

the little things that ginny does, is it for her own benefit, or harry's?

and i love how draco manages to see everything harry wants.

Oh wow! Now that she's moving out I wonder if Draco will get his wish? Will they last? Or like Ginny said will they burn each other out.
